The InvEarth project is composed of several photographic series focusing on nature. Different subjects from flora, fauna, and the ‘four elements’ (water, earth, fire and air) were chosen as exemplary symbols of planet Earth. These were shot focusing on specific features, then developed in black and white, finally turned into negative images. The lack of color represents our world’s intrinsic dichotomy, the incessant dance between day and night, light and shadow, and yin and yang that has always marked the passage of time and the advance of evolution. The latter, the primordial principle governing life on Earth, is symbolized here by the negative reversal of the shots. This graphic process was carried out in memory of film, which for years represented the essence of photography, before being almost completely supplanted by digital formats.

- "Metamorphosis" is the third series of the InvEarth project. Its protagonist is a small, "magical" creature, that experiences an incredible evolution: the butterfly. At the last phase of their four-stage life cycle (egg - caterpillar - chrysalis - adult), butterflies perform a spell: the pupal skin splits, the adult insect climbs out, and after its wings have expanded and dried, it flies off. Adults are characterized by four wings entirely covered with scales, that give the name to the order butterflies belong to: "Lepidoptera" (Ancient Greek  "lepís", scale + "pterón", wing). Through microphotography we can observe these structures of scales and hair, characterized by a myriad of colors, shapes and patterns, as one of the highest artistic expressions created by nature.

- The rose is the protagonist of the fourth series of InvEarth project, with evocative shots that lead us directly into the arms of its velvety petals, as if we were a pollinating insect that seeks the way to reach its heart. This series is a tribute to the flower symbol par excellence of love and passion which has been a source of inspiration for poets, painters and artists since time immemorial: appeared on Earth before man (traces of roses have been found in fossils which date back to over 25 million years ago), the "queen of flowers" was known already 4700 years ago in China for its healing qualities, it arrived in the western world thanks to the Egyptians, who cultivated it already under the reign of Ramses II in 1200 BC, and was appreciated by the Romans for the heady scent and the ornamental spreading of petals during banquets.
